Aims:

To provide timely information for action regarding the most appropriate and cost effective treatment for gonococcal disease by monitoring the geographic and temporal emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance in Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

To advance the knowledge of the biology of N. gonorrhoeae and the application of those laboratory aspects that materially assist efforts at control of gonococcal disease (gonorrhoea).

The 19^th Congress of International Society for STD Reseach 2011
